NAR ( National Association of Realtors®) Announces Innovative Simulation Training to Tackle Discrimination in Real Estate

As we celebrate Black History Month it inspired me to do this four part series

Part 1 in my series on how The National Association of Realtors® (NAR’s) new platform to counter discrimination in the real estate industry effects everyone. I am starting the series out with information about what NAR’s is trying to accomplish and how I am responding to the initiatives.

The National Association of Realtors® is America's largest trade association, representing more than 1.4 million members involved in all aspects of the residential and commercial real estate industries. They are also the industry leader in support of fair housing initiatives.

On November 19, 2020  The National Association of Realtors® announced a new interactive training platform designed to help combat discrimination in America's real estate market. They have made the platform available at no cost to real estate professionals throughout the country.

The training, which also provides customized feedback to help real estate professionals incorporate fair housing principles in their daily interactions, will be offered directly to NAR members and to brokerage firms and Realtor®associations. National Association of Realtors® continually  works to create innovative anti-discrimination training and champions efforts that encourage diversity, fight racial bias and build more inclusive communities.

Please check out the NAR - National Association of Realtors® full article along with my website for information on both buying and selling a home. I have over 25 years in real estate and have gathered lots of info for my clients over the years. I have added this information to my website to help both buyers and sellers. I have also added a page covering At Home With Diversity®.
